Resolved: Networking issues affecting STL-A

UPDATE #3: The networking issues in STL-A have now been resolved at this time (04:54am UTC)
UPDATE #2: We continue to work through the networking issues in STL-A. You may still be seeing intermittent packet loss at this time. More info to come.
UPDATE: We have determined the root cause of the network issues in STL-A and are working to restore connectivity as quickly as possible. We will keep you posted.
We are currently investigating network related issues in STL-A. We will let you know as soon as we have more details.

the fact i can not see my slice in the slice manager Scare me a lot! i thought all my web, database, everything is gone!?

Your Slice is still there I can assure you. The issue is affecting how the Slices are reported in the Slicemanager.
Please don’t worry about it and I do apologise for the additional worry.

How do we know if we’re at STL-A or STL-B? I’m hoping I’m at STL-A, since I can’t currently get to my slice and it doesn’t show up the slice manager.
I’m a little worried that there have so many recent outages. Looking at http://status.slicehost.com/, there are 12 posts in the last 30 days, and 8 in the last 12 days.
